Negative experience: Same issue happened again as of last year when I booked it ya left out 1 person on there seat selection so I had to go on and pay for another seat so we can all sit together so now I’m down another €49 think this is a bit of a scam as this happened last year aswell

Fantastic experience: The website is very easy to navigate and the holiday packages on offer can be tailored to suit your budget. Great quality hotels and the filters allow you to select various options for comparison. I feels more secure using this website as well.

Negative experience: Awful company, disgusting attitude towards clients, rude and do not correct their mistakes, but blame the client, do not apologize!!! Horrible, unpleasant! I will never deal with them again!

Negative experience: THE BIGGEST LETDOWN. Please stay away from this company as,having booked the wrong resort for me,they have done absolutely nothing to rectify it (ref SRNLP8).Andrew decided to wash his hands in double quick time,blaming a third party. No surprise that what was once a thriving travel agency (30+ front desk operators) is down now to 2-3 employees. AVOID,AVOID,AVOID.

Negative experience: ABSOLUTE DISGRACE AND HOLIDAY RUINED. Please do book through this company of cowboys that is only interested in cashing in but didn't lift a finger in order to rectify a blatant mistake. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES

Negative experience: very disappointed! booked package through Budget including transfers; Ryanair flight was delayed by more than three hours, and although I informed Hoppa driver with several texts well in advance, of our ETA, he refused to provide service as delay was more than 2 hours. This left us stranded in Rome airport with a 10 year old at 4.00 am! we paid for taxi which cost 60 euros. on return home i tried recouping this extra expense as we paid for a service we did not receive, but Budget says its not their fault, and Hoppa are uncontactable, their web form asks for information I dont have as it was Budget who contracted them. Neither Budget (who we paid ) nor Hoppa (who Budget hired) seem to care about a family left out of pocket after being stranded in a foreign city airport in the middle of the night. I would have hoped that after receiving a substantial payment for a family holiday, Budget would be showing more concern for good customer relations than for saving 60 euros, not at all happy with our treatment by any of the parties involved!

Fantastic experience: Great detail on the website, easy to navigate to select other flights if required, great choice of hotels and apartments.

Negative experience: Budget Travel changed our hotel from a family hotel to a business hotel and only notified us of the change a day before we were due to depart. We had spent days choosing our special hotel. Will never book with Budget Travel again.

Negative experience: Experience completely tarnished over lack of support. They sent us the wrong company name for the transfer. We rang the company of the named transfer given and they could not find our booking. We emailed budget travel to get a pickup time and contact for the return transfer, was told they would contact us 24 hrs prior, which NEVER happened. We rang budget travel on the day we were due to fly home and they were not giving us any information on our transfer unless we paid €50 which we refused as we paid or transfer already shouldn't have to pay for customer service.

Fantastic experience: I recently travelled to Thailand with my Wife and we enjoyed our holiday so much we decided to extend our stay. We contacted Sarah Jane in the Budget Travel office and the support and expertise she showed us was only fantastic. Negative experience: Budget Travel has been one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. We booked a holiday for my mother, father and 2 year old through them. We picked a hotel that was a staff pick. The hotel was dirty, had used chewing gum stuck on the balcony, the bed sheet covers were dirty and there was finger marks all over the wardrobes. The room we were giving in Hotel Bali was unsafe for a 2 year old. There was glass and wooden furniture with sharp edges sticking out. My 2 year old banged his head twice walking around the room within the first 15 minutes of arriving. The pool was closed for mid February which wasn’t advertised when we booked the hotel. We had to book another hotel which put us out of pocket $1,232 and I contacted budget travel while we were still on holidays and we received a very unhelpful response from Vanessa the Head of Customer Services. We are going back and forward 2 days with budget travel while still on holiday. It’s causing us more stress on our trip.

Fantastic experience: For 15 years, I have been buying holidays only from this agency. We fly several times a year. Holidays plus long weekends. We started with the Dominican Republic, 90 percent is Spain with the Canary Islands, Portugal, and last week we were in Abu Dhabi. 15 years is a good time for a nice discount. During our cooperation, we only had our hotel changed once, but that was already on site. The stars matched, the All Inclusive package was also included with champagne every day and fresh fruit in the room, as well as a free excursion for two. The only thing that changed was the name of the hotel, but the hotel was in a great walking distance from the center and the water. Everyone will decide if it suits them.

Fantastic experience: Looking for a reasonably priced holiday in Spain and I found one on the budget travel website. User friendly site and easy to navigate. Hopefully the holiday will be as good as the reviews and description.

Negative experience: Every holiday on there website is the incorrect price, as when you click on any they will add minimum 75 euro per person. Why display the lower prices but its impossible to get them prices.

Negative experience: They will not quote a single parent. The search comes up as nothing for these dates, if I search for just two adults miraculously there is availability. I wondered if it was on oversight, and emailed them, but they were no surprised, and offered no apologies, or rectifications. If there are any single parents in your life, please avoid Budget Travel on their behalf. Booking a holiday away, without another adult is hard enough without clear discrimination

And budget travel are very lucky to have her as a staff member. If I'm booking anymore trips away I will be using budget travel . Negative experience: If I could leave a 0 I would. The support from this travel agents in non existent. No reps on the ground and if you have any issues you have to ring the shop during opening hours. We booked accommodation to find out it was over booked on arrival. Put in some filthy horrible apartment block full of kids and parties all through the night. Absolutely no support from budget travel. Our room was broken into by someone who had a key and still Budget travel would not move us to a new accommodation. We were left for 7 nights to sleep in a room that a burglar had access to. No benefits to using Budget travel. I will never use them again.

Negative experience: Unfortunately I am still waiting for a reply from Budget travel after 2 weeks, This company used to be very good when booking a holiday but seem to have gone downhill in the last few years, As I could not get a response in a reasonable time I booked with a nother travel agent, Unfortunately I can't recommend Budget travel at this time but will update if I actually receive a response from them anytime soon.

Negative experience: Same thing happened with us as someone else recently whose reviewed here , hotel with no pool , it was April time! no one is in the outdoor pools because there freezing! Would never use again really rude too

Negative experience: I don't like leaving a negative review but had a bad experience booking with Budget (for the first time) and have used others before which have been grand. Firstly, was told a couple of times would get a call back and didn't, I always had to chase them- that you can always try to forgive and put down to busyness etc. Then they said they emailed the hotel re a query and I heard nothing, I got quite a snippy email back when I asked had they any news on my query so I emailed the hotel itself who said they'd not ever received an email from Budget at all with my query. The last straw was getting to the hotel (in Crete) and there was no pool. We were told there was an indoor pool and shown it in store, but it was closed. I got on to Budget when we came back and for full transparency they offered a 10% discount on future bookings, but together with the very shoddy service and no *swimming pool* on a once in a lifetime (not cheap) treat holiday, felt that was not at all sufficient. I did not even receive a reply to my last email to them, very very disappointing overall and wouldn't ever use again.

Negative experience: I booked with a travel agent for the first time in 15 years and it was a mistake, the booking process is much easier and cheaper to book yourself, budget travel offer your nothing for your money, I called into their office prior to travelling and their lack of knowledge was to be expected, how travel agents remain in business is beyond me.
