Negative experience: It's a total ripp off, I've lived in one of their houses for 5 months and only made bad experiences. The rent is really high but they still have extra fees, the state of the house (Liberty Street 5) was horrible, in desperate need of renovation. There was no warm water from the sink, the washing machine didn't work and we also had mice in the house. On multiple atempts, we contacted eazy city and the owner of the house on this, always getting a response that they would take care of it - surprise, surprise they didn't.

Negative experience: Disappointing service and would not recommend renting from them. The apartments in Cork are below standard, with poor quality bathrooms, uncomfortable and messy living spaces, and an unpleasant smell. Communication with the management is extremely difficult, and when issues are raised regarding the condition of the rooms, they either make empty promises of room changes or cleaning that never materialize or simply ignore you altogether. Avoid at all costs.

The accommodation was impeccable, the location perfect and the service provided by the staff outstanding. Everyone was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. Negative experience: After a 'wonderful' Erasmus in Cork, and 2 months with EazyCity, I can confirm that, as many others have commented, the experience is terrible. In my case, I paid an outrageous amount of money for several different services that EazyCity offered, including accommodation in a shared room, job searching for the Erasmus internship, electricity, etc. After that payment, I was received by a house with between 10 and 12 people, a shower that didn't work, a back door that couldn't be locked and hence created a total sense of insecurity, leaks in the kitchen coming from another bathroom, plugs that didn't work, windows that wouldn't open, a dirty house that no one came to clean, among many other things. After complaining both myself and other housemates, nothing was resolved during the 2-month stay. I would not recommend anyone to do their stay with EazyCity.

Negative experience: Eazycity housing? Unsanitary ruins entrusted by indifferent owners to eazycity. It's the reign of dirt and mold here. In addition to the unsanitary conditions, you will be around roommates (around 9/10 per accommodation), mostly students who will make you experience hell with dirt, noise and other inconveniences. You complain to Eazycity? In vain: they are there to collect your money. Why would they worry? They know you're just passing through. Bad reviews? They don't care, the housing crisis ensures their business. Don't trust the photos, they are all lies, from another time. You eventually want to experience? Welcome to the land of broken beds, sleepless nights, unsanitary kitchens and bathrooms!

Negative experience: I lived in Cork a few years ago while being hosted by this network, I was quite disappointed. I can even say that I didn't like it at all and found it bothersome, their housing conditions are indecent. Their houses are decent, but they literally cram people in... in the one I was in, we were ten (yes!). Really not great in terms of privacy... I even came to call them 'sardine can houses', I do not recommend, it's a scam for suckers, this organization. I really don't understand the positive comments on Google, people have been paid by them to make these comments, that's all I see. I ended up leaving their network to find a less crowded shared accommodation on the site https://www.myhome.ie, it's better than these scammers and their overcrowded slums.
Fantastic experience: Thanks to EazyCity, I have been staying in Cork for 1 month for a Study-Abroad experience. It was a life changing time. From the very first moment they gave me all the information I needed. I would like to thank particularly Cristina and Nerea. They have been both incredibly kind and helpful. I hope I will come back to Cork soon, and of course, EazyCity will always be my first choice to find an efficient accommodation.

Fantastic experience: I have been in Cork for a month and I have found a great availability from the staff at eazycity, starting with Cristina who has supported me since the beginning of this adventure. She found me a good company to do my internship, helped me when I decided to start an IELTS course, and listened to and answered all my questions with great kindness and professionalism. Nicole welcomed me and made me feel a little more at home. Troy had to listen to my complaints about the apartment and came to meet me in the best way. Karen handled the administrative/accounting situation with great professionalism. It is thanks to them that my experience here in Cork is more positive than negative. The only thing that has made me uncomfortable is the housing situation...but when living abroad you can't be too demanding. Overall, I am happy and I recommend eazycity especially for those who are traveling for the first time, as it is an excellent reference point.

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience with Eazycity. One of the best services I received during my stay in Cork. In particular, the agent Elena was very available and attentive to my demands.
Negative experience: I went through Eazycity, overall everything went well, my host family was very kind. But on the other hand, never expect to see your deposit back, Eazycity will always find a way to keep it for no reason, so if you go through this agency, expect to pay an extra €300 deposit on top of the rent for no reason. I recommend using websites like 'Hosting Power'. Not to mention that during registration, they ask for a €300 deposit and take €50 for winter charges, I've never seen that on any website. Well in any case, it doesn't change anything because they keep the €300. Eazycity will always try to say it's your fault, but if you read several comments, you'll quickly see that I'm not the only one in this situation. Eazycity is the last resort in my opinion, hoping that my comment will help you make the right choice.
Hi Anthony, Thank you for taking the time to fill out this review. However, we feel that your feedback is not justified as you were made aware of our terms and conditions prior to check-in, as is the case with all our tenants. On November 21st, 2022 (a few weeks prior to your check-in), you were sent our accommodation agreement by your sales agent that clearly states our terms and conditions. In this agreement, it is noted that all tenants must give a minimum of 28 days’ notice to change the check-out date. In the case of your booking, you had originally booked the room until February 7th, 2023, but instead checked out on January 14th, 2023, without notifying us. As a result, your deposit was kept due to lack of notice. This was explained to you by e-mail recently also. Finally, it is also mentioned in our accommodation agreement that all clients are subject to a check-out fee of €50.00, that is deducted from the deposit after check-out. As an agency, our terms of stay were explained to you before you decided to make your booking with us. Due to this, we believe your review to be unfair and misleading. Fantastic experience: I recently checked out of an EazyCity property after a 12 week stay while doing an internship - overall, I had a pleasurable experience - the property was clean and adequate for my needs, close to the city centre and spacious - my highlight was the people that I had the opportunity to meet from many different countries - they brightened up my stay while I was away far away from home and hope that I have made some friends for life - looking forward to returning to Cork next year

Negative experience: Be careful, the truth is that the accommodation is of very poor quality, all the furniture is old or doesn't work. If you have any requirements, the company WILL not respond to you. The places they rent are large houses where at least 12 people share, which is often a problem since people who go for short stays generally do not clean the common areas and it ends up being your responsibility to clean up the trash from the others. I speak from experience since I stayed in this place for 6 months due to the housing crisis happening in Ireland at the moment, but I definitely do not recommend it. In the third month, they raised the rent by 300 euros arbitrarily, and with no other options, I had to pay. If you have no other option, I would recommend not traveling to Ireland rather than staying in this place. If you are not very, very, very tolerant and are willing to share, in my case with 16 other people in the house, you will have a bad experience. Beware of the comments that have 5 stars as they are clearly bots or people who were influenced to leave a good review because with everyone I spoke to who lived in the different properties of this company, they were very, very disappointed and looking for an exit as quickly as possible. Honestly, it’s a 1-star hostel.
Hi Sebastian, Thank you for taking the time to fill out this review. After reading the above, we spent some time looking back over your booking and correspondence with us as we take all negative reviews very seriously in order to consistently improve our services. Looking back on your stay with us, I can see that it began on June 10th 2022. Three days later, on June 13th 2022, you sent us an e-mail to say that the room is “very spacious” but there are a number of maintenance issues and queries you would like dealt with including issues with the comfort of the beds, with the blinds in the room and queries in regards to the responsibility of the property cleaning. In this e-mail also, you included this comment; “We are very interested in extending our stay in this room for the 8 months that we will be since it is well located, but we need to resolve these details”. Within 4 hours of this e-mail being sent, a reply was sent to you in which you were offered the services of our handyman to look after any maintenance requests and our efforts to extend you as much as possible were offered. You replied with the following comment; “We are very happy in general with the room and the location. Considering our course is until mid december it would be amazing if you let us stay for those months too. Hope you understand” Within 48 hours of this original report being sent to us, the maintenance issues were solved by our handyman and we began our efforts to extend you for your full stay to cover your course, despite the fact that our stays are normally a maximum of 5-6 months. On June 15th 2022, you sent us an e-mail with a definitive new check-out date as well as this comment; “Also, thank you very much for fixing the stuff in our room. We are much better now. Please consider our petition to stay in the room until december, we are good tenants ha ha.” A few days later, your request to extend for the duration of your course was granted. After this correspondence in June 2022, no further e-mails or correspondence with any complaints, property issues or difficulties were sent to us by you or your roommate until your notice of check-out in November 2022. During your stay, you had access to a dedicated accommodation services manager, maintenance and cleaning team in order to help with any issues you may have had but you did not make use of this. As well as this, inspections were organised and monthly cleanings of your property were performed throughout your stay. In regards to the other comments mentioned above; you say the rent was raised by €300.00 in the third month of your stay. This is untrue. In September of 2022 (three months into your stay), a new winter supplement of €50.00 per person, per month was introduced due to the unprecedented rise in utility costs throughout Ireland and indeed Europe. As well as this, the fee for en-suite rooms, was raised by €10.00 per person, per week. These amounts do not add to €300.00 and 28 days’ notice was given in advance of any rice adjustments (as per our terms and conditions) in case a client would like to make alternative arrangements. As you were aware, we offer a very flexible check-out option where clients can check-out with just 28 days’ notice. In relation to the large properties; as an agency, the comfort of our clients is paramount as we are always open to discussing the individual needs of each client. If a client is unhappy in a property for whatever reason, whether it be the amount of tenants in a given property or the location etc., we are happy to look into moving them to other properties where there can be less tenants with smaller living conditions. However, you did request this option during your stay. Overall, we are quite saddened that your stay seemed to not go as well as we offer our clients. If you happen to still be in Cork, we would be happy to meet you in person to discuss this in further detail at our office. Please feel free to contact us at our usual channels.

Fantastic experience: When I booked accomodation in Eazycity it was handled very well. Good service received. They were always available anytime I had a small problem or any issues that arose during my stay. Even after moving in they check to see if I was happy and that everything was OK shortly after moving into the house making sure i was satisfied and all my needs were as expected. Negative experience: If I can put 0 starts I will do. THE TEAM IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR TENANTS (if you have a problem with the accomodation you have to wait 1 month before having an answer by mail or by phone... such a shame). So they have A TERRIBLE LAKE OF COMMUNICATION. They NOT RESPECT THEIR PARTS OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS about Covid 19 and minimal cleanlyness. They don't inform you about capital things (for exemple the time after we can check in !). To conclude the informations we can find in their website are not the same as what they told us in their mails. This is NOT A SERIOUS AGENCY and they just make money off the foreign students (1400€ for a month in Santry in a flatsharing of 3 students). Attached the pictures of my accomodation at my arrival...

As was mentioned to you several times, by many team members, we require 28 days’ notice to check-out from the accommodation; or you risk losing part, or all of your deposit. More importantly, this important term is listed in our accommodation agreement that you signed and agreed to before you checked in August 2022. Towards the end of your stay, you checked out with only 14 days’ notice and you were informed in advance that you risk losing your deposit if you check-out without the proper notice at this point. You were aware of this possible loss at several times throughout your stay so to accuse us of being fraudulent is inherently false. As an agency, we are quite flexible and willing to assist clients as much as possible. This flexibility was offered to you when we worked tirelessly to grant your extension request for the full academic year when you only booked for 12 weeks on arrival. We hope you got settled elsewhere in Cork and wish you the best for the future despite the above. EazyCity Team
Positive experience: At first glance, this may seem like a scam, but for a long stay (internship, studies, etc.), it's the best option. The roommates are really nice. However, if you stay more than 6 months, it is not at all cost-effective, and the company's goal is not to provide you with a permanent housing solution, as the houses are not the best in the world. But for 3 months (that was my case), it is a great option because for 3 months and a single room, it's the best option. Elena was my contact person, and she provided excellent advice!

Negative experience: I just arrived in Cork and everything is wrong, the bathroom is dirty. The sheets they left me are dirty, the kitchen is disgustingly dirty. There is no space in the fridge for anything. There is annoying noise from the boiler room and above all I'm calling to get someone to attend to me and no one answers my calls. I have sent 10 emails to Nerea who was the one who attended to me and now she doesn't call me back, the room smells bad. And it is dirty. The bathroom is dirty. And they sold it to me as high-end, I am going to make a complaint to consumer services because they have lied to me. The photos do not resemble at all what they publish.

Negative experience: This company does not attend to customers, I asked for help and they show no interest in helping. I rented a house in Ireland that they offered for 2 months while I was on Erasmus. I spent 1 month with a broken washing machine, a broken microwave, leaks, a broken vacuum cleaner, the house in poor condition, and yet they did not want to provide us with solutions. The rent is very expensive and they offer no help, always giving excuses, and for the price it has, I do not recommend it at all. Very poor quality of customer service and stay. A shameful company.

Negative experience: At the entrance of a super narrow corridor there were garbage bins. The floors were not even flat and the whole structure was extremely old and seemed about to fall apart. The room was very small and pieces of floor were detached. Not ensuite as requested and paid. The place was basicaly not livable and i did not spend even one day there. The property management justified themselves saying that the problem were known, so that's why they had applied a small discount, but did not refund the first payment. Due to the short stay they manage to avoid being accountable with RTB.
Fantastic experience: EazyCity Cork helped us during our accomodation in Cork! We were a group of students that we came in Cork to UCC as visitor students and we lived into different houses that were provided to us. We lived in a nice big house! Whenever we had a problem, they tried to help us and solve it! We had a good time in Ireland ans especially in Cork!
Negative experience: Decent place and attention but trying to steal €200 or get new people in by changing the rent price is not ok nor legal. Also had my vacuum stolen by cleaning staff.
Fantastic experience: I have been in an EazyCity house for a month, I have passed a nice time, the service in EazyCity is wonderful, if you need something they help you a lot. The house was good too. The best was that the service solves all my problems very fast and they were so kind.
Fantastic experience: Nice and big place close to the center to stay for more than a week. During the stay we had several "problems" that we were supposed to solve quickly and efficiently. There are a emergency number to call all day. The staffs is very nice and friendly.
Negative experience: Unfortunately, I had no good experiences. The accommodation (ArdPatrick1) was very worn out, my room was infested with mold. I was promised multiple times that the problem would be addressed, which did not happen. In addition to the horrendous prices, demanding a deposit of €100 is also very inappropriate.
Positive experience: Through more than a year I lived in several Eazy City houses is Cork. I am honestly grateful that such agency exists, as it is very difficult to find accommodation. The best things about it are; that you can have your own room, you can choose a bit longer period with possibility to extend, and the staff is there to help you, answer you, guide you, advise you. As a small pity, I'd say it would be better to have had opportunity to stay in one room for one year. And, the cleaning issue never ends. Eazy warns people to keep tidy houses, though, my experiences unfortunately are quite bad. 90% of tenants don't care about cleaning and I think Eazy should me much more strict regarding that. So, if you plan to visit Cork, or you are stuck in accommodation problems, and you want your own peace, room, part of kitchen... then definitely book there. Thanks Eazy for everything and good luck!

Positive experience: Very helpful and nice crews . The best option for the people who are coming to Ireland and they don't have accomodation at that moment . You can stay up to 3 month and pay weekly .I stayed for one month and half. The only downside is that they won't check the accomodation regularly and it may brings up some issue which is not big deal.

Fantastic experience: I stayed with EazyCity Cork for 7 months. The staff was very friendly and helpful. During the 7 months that I stayed with them, I moved into different properties since I didn't know for how long I was staying in Cork and I was only able to make short term bookings close to my check-in. There is a housing crisis in Ireland and finding accomodation is hard and time consuming. Without EazyCity Cork I would have gone crazy finding a place to stay. My peers were having such a hard time finding accomodation due to the shortage of room and flats for rent in Ireland. I didn't have to worry about that since I had EazyCity Cork always able to provide me with a place to stay regardless of when I made the booking.It was a peace of mind for me to count on EazyCity Cork. If you need a short term accomodation in Cork, don't hesitate to contact EazyCity, they will do their best to provide you with a place to stay. One tip for you all, they always have offers during the summer and December/January. If you are coming to Ireland during this time, you might want to contact them, your stayed in Ireland will be very affordable considering the current rent prices. Thank you very much Valery and Alessia for your help, without your help my accomodation issue would have been a nightmare. Only those aware of the housing crisis in Ireland appreciate and are grateful for the great service that you provide. All the best, I will see you again next time I am in Cork.

Negative experience: Shameful, absolutely shameful. Initially available, before renting the house. After that, getting their attention is impossible. Getting the deposit back? An odyssey, perhaps a utopia. I left the house about 3 months ago and they don't bother to respond to emails or calls. Incompetence, disorganization, and complete lack of seriousness. Unreliable.

Positive experience: The staff at the agency is always polite and willing to help, especially Elena, with whom I spoke most often. The only downside is the prices, which are slightly higher compared to similar accommodations.
Negative experience: The worst agency I have ever seen. They have 65 Euros agency fee plus 25 Euros cleening fee - for nothing. Communication with them is very hard - their washing machine destroyed my clothes and they did not respond to e-mails. Never more!
