Fantastic experience: Many thanks to Sean at Lee Travel, we were stuck in Cork with no internet Sean booked our flights in the middle of the Aerlingus strike and got us back to Rome with a couple of nights accommodation at a really good hotel for a fantastic price cannot recommend Sean enough keep up the good work !!!!
Negative experience: Booked a cruise for 3 sisters with Rebecca in Lee Travel. Once I had booked and paid it was difficult to contact her as she only works Wednesday to Saturday. Her colleagues do not have access to her bookings so had to wait till she was at work to ask a question. Got over that. We got no information on the cruise we booked, regarding theme nights etc. Drinks packages, excursions etc. As far as I am concerned we went into that cruise as first time cruisers blind. We were told verbally and in an email that our gratuities were prepaid but on final day of the cruise we were faced with a Bill of 540 euro for tips. Rebecca's response was sorry I made a mistake??? If you want a hassle free holiday do not use Lee Travel. Everyone we spoke to on the cruise had been given excursion options to suit all budgets, drinks packages to suit all budgets, upgrades to suit all budgets etc. Buyer beware!!! Negative experience: AVOID! Booked a holiday in May for September and paid a deposit and insurance. I made it extremely clear we needed a hotel with a wheelchair accessible room as one person travelling is in a wheelchair. I was advised that was fine and all was in order with the hotel and paid the remainder of the holiday off in 2 more instalments. Once the final payment was made on the 01/07/2023 I received an email on the05/07/2023 to say Tui had cancelled our holiday because the hotel would not guarantee the wheelchair room. Why was this not confirmed when we paid the deposit! The email Tui sent was forwarded to me but they removed the date they sent the email! I was advised a full refund would be given and to go to the office on Wednesday to collect it . When we arrived, there was no cheque after my boyfriend left work early to make it on time! We were willing to rebook with Lee travel even changed location dates and from half board to self catering and an increased cost! Woke up this morning to be told the price increased again. I rang to speak with the manager who didn't seem to have any knowledge of any of this until yesterday. Lee travel didnt take one bit of responsibility for the holiday being cancelled and kept pushing the blame back to the hotel due to a wheelchair. Had the due diligence been done when booking the whole problem would have been avoided. I did receive a refund in form of a cheque which we now have to wait to clear. Thanks to Lee travel we now cant go on holiday in September as the late notice it is far too expensive. An apology isn't much good to us! In this day and age it shouldnt be so difficult to book a holiday for someone with additional needs!

Negative experience: Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Stay clear of this place. Lisa apparently was dealing with my issue-didn’t even get back to me and we were stranded in France with 4 small children. Sean the so called manager couldn’t even be bothered replying to my emails. A joke of a business. What a way to treat people. Plenty of other travel agencies out there and my advice is go somewhere where you are appreciated.
Negative experience: I rarely if ever write a review - but I am compelled to write a NEGATIVE review on Lee Travel. I visited the shop last Wednesday 1st February to book flights to Australia. I spent a good period of time explaining my dates, that I wanted to fly out of Cork etc. I was also inquiring about a possible upgrade. The person Joanne, told me she would get back to me next day with necessary information. Next day, NOTHING, phoned her, told she was out of office for the day. The person I spoke to told me she would check on my query & get back - NO RESPONSE BACK. Eventually an email on 3rd February from Joanne to say that she had been busy, & that every time she went to deal with my issue, she found her phone would ring, or an email would need dealing with!! To make matters worse her email to me did not address my query at all. Phoned her today, but she is not in office. Spoke to another person LIsa, who said she would deal properly with my query - still no response from her, & it is now 3.30pm! In exasperation I phoned Bernard Travel instead, dealt with a person called Laura - her efficiency & professionalism just exemplary!! Suffice to say, I have now my flight to Australia booked through Bernard Travel. It took, a small amount of time, and still waiting 1 WEEK later to hear back from LEE TRAVEL I have also phoned & complained to manager at Lee Travel Trust me, that this is a very true review (though not my real name, Lee travel do have my name & know I am writing this review) - do NOT waste your time dealing with these people. Simply dreadful!! Customer service & professionalism NIL
Negative experience: I am absolutely appalled by the awful service I encountered with Lee Travel. I wouldn’t recommend Lee Travel to anyone. I had to wait 24 weeks for a refund of over €1600 which was meant to take max 10 weeks. The service was awful , I was in contact with multiple members of staff over the phone or through email at least 3 times a week for 14 weeks after the 10 week period was up trying to get my refund. I was told endless times that I would have my money back within a couple of days which never happened. My emails were ignored and often phone calls not answered. If I didn’t constantly ring and email demanding my money back I would have never received it , we had to go as fair as threatening the small claims court and getting on to a lawyer. The service was horrific and I will never ever book anything with Lee Travel again.
Negative experience: Finally got money back from holiday cancelled 24 weeks ago after having to chase it up, constantly call, email and threaten legal action. Horrible way to treat people, was constantly fobbed off and given excuses as to why the money hadn’t been refunded, was very very stressful. Very poor service, no regard for their customers, would give zero stars if I could. Clearly have a reputation for not refunding people judging from other reviews… wouldn’t recommend to anyone
Negative experience: Every time I go there there's a note on the door saying Lunch break 2-3. Went at 3.15 twice this week and the place was closed. Back in February was looking for a trip deal and left my email. Nobody came back to me. Horrible and extremely poor customer service. Wouldn't recommend the place to anyone

Fantastic experience: Our first holiday without children/teenagers. Staff recommended a great city break and accommodation which was first class. We stayed at the Picasso Suite apartments in Malaga, very central to all activities and apartment was very well maintained with regular linen changes.

Negative experience: I don't want to give ANY star - unfortunately, that's not possible - I got the worst customer service ever! I was at the office in Paul St. on the 21.12. in the evening to inquire about a last minute holiday the week after x-mas. Lisa Broderick wanted to ring me back next day and she didn't! On 23rd I called just to find out they are closed until 02.01. Did she truly forget that she was off work for the rest of the year?!?!?! Did she care about a customer whom she even asked for the phone number and handed out her business card? I am not only disappointed I am angry about how somebody dares to work in customer care and is such a buffoon!
