Our comment from TraTraTravel Ireland about EazyCity Dublin:
EazyCity Dublin is a flexible accommodation agency that offers various housing options for students and interns in the heart of Ireland's capital. Many users have highlighted the agency's friendly and helpful staff, especially mentioning individuals like Cleiton, Loris, and Cristina for their assistance and professionalism.
Despite some positive reviews, several guests have encountered issues during their stays, including:
- Inconsistent communication from the agency, with many claiming they had difficulty reaching them for assistance.
- Cleanliness and maintenance concerns in some accommodations, with reports of dirty kitchens, poorly functioning appliances, and unkempt living conditions.
- High rental prices compared to the quality of housing provided, leading to feelings of being taken advantage of, especially during the Dublin housing crisis.
- Instances of overcrowding in some properties, which may lead to an uncomfortable living environment.
Nonetheless, many guests appreciated the community aspect of living in EazyCity homes and the chance to meet people from different backgrounds. Some guests noted that for those who prioritize social interactions and are willing to overlook certain shortcomings, EazyCity can offer a valuable experience in Dublin.
EazyCity Dublin: Reviews
Negative experience: An EazyCity house is an unsupervised boarding house. They fill their houses however they want, mixing indiscriminately people who stay for several weeks or months with those who stay only a week or two. Result: a permanent rotation of occupants in their houses, no discipline, constant chaos. Add to that the fact that you will find yourself ten in a house that could barely hold 5 or 6 people, there is really a lack of space. It's simple, they completely disregard what happens in their houses: people drink alcohol excessively and even use drugs, no one says anything. If you have a problem, you will deal with interns, whom they completely exploit and send to the front lines. Conclusion: to be avoided. It's a really bad agency.
Negative experience: Eazycity is an unreliable agency. When we had problems, we couldn't reach anyone and received no response to our messages. Once they told us they would get back to us, which they did not. Our internship was very disappointing, and I wouldn't recommend doing it with eazycity!!!! The emergency number was also unreachable and we received no help even in emergencies.
Fantastic experience: I often think of Ireland and the magnificent experience that will always remain in my heart. Thanks to the teams at EazyCity Cork first and Dublin after who always helped me (with patience) during my 5-month stay.
Fantastic experience: Available and very kind
Negative experience: Worst agency ever. The rooms are not at all like the pictures, they do not have any accommodations in the center and lie on the availability of their rooms. The most unprofessional people I have ever seen. To avoid!!!
Negative experience: To avoid at all costs! An agency that only cares about your money and doesn’t even think about the comfort of its clients! When we arrived, a pile of dirty dishes was left by the previous tenants in the kitchen, and according to the agency, it was up to us to clean them. Our bathroom was dirty, moldy, and the toilet or shower was blocked once out of two times (picture available). We were constantly harassed by email by at least 6 people from the agency who never communicate with each other. Information was sent by email the day before for the application of this information the next day, such as the price change of our rent of more than 50 euros that we were unable to pay. Because with a little advance at the same price as this new rent, we could have had a complete and clean apartment! But Ciara and Loris, the so-called managers, do not listen to you and send you the same copied and pasted emails every day because all they want is for you to pay for everything and anything. In the end, the agency asks for a deposit of 250 euros (while the room isn’t even worth 50 euros), and when you leave, they give you back 220 euros because according to them, the so-called cleaning they do when you leave costs them 30 euros (too hard to wash the dishes for the arrival of a new tenant). Once again, we were never informed of this price.
Positive experience: I was assisted by Cristina, who was very patient and available in case I had doubts and questions. I decided to opt for a package, English course + accommodation. The course turned out to be very stimulating, and it's a pity that I couldn't extend it further. The accommodation was comfortable because it was close to the center, but unfortunately, I ended up in a house where all the room keys were the same, so there was never any security that a roommate wouldn't come in to steal something. Aside from a few petty thefts, the experience was positive.
Fantastic experience: I really appreciated this experience in collaboration with EasyCity Dublin. Because thanks to it, I expanded my views regarding foreign work environments. Special thanks to the guides, including Elena and Alessia. I hope others can have this magnificent experience.
Fantastic experience: Hi, I'm Gabriel. I was in Dublin with my schoolmates, it was fantastic. Thanks to EazyCity, it was a fantastic experience, great organization, the guided tours were really amazing. Thanks to Elena, Alessia, and Cleiton who took us everywhere.
Fantastic experience: I am very satisfied with the service offered in finding a General English course. In particular, Cristina was very patient in answering my countless questions and doubts, helping me find a course despite the very short notice (I left about a week after booking the course). I did not take any package, but if you are looking for even just an English course with EazyCity, you can find a great solution. Thank you!!
Fantastic experience: Eazycity has given me support and explanations about Dublin, and has good places to the students live while they are in the city.
Fantastic experience: I was looking for accommodation in Dublin. And I found it thanks to EasyCity, but more specifically thanks to Adriana, a Frenchwoman who works in their offices. Thank you to her for finding me a perfect place close to the city center and also to my job (20 min walk). I recommend without hesitation. Thanks again, Adriana.
Fantastic experience: Our son lives at Hostpoint Student Residence during his internship. It is cool and ideally located. New, clean and comfortable. As regards Eazycity Dublin, here again, nothing to say except that they have been very nice and professionnal. They advised us precisely and relevantly when we made the reservation and then were very helpful in the process. Cristina, the lady I talk to on the chat, was patient, very very patient (!!) and nice and I even had the chance to talk with someone speaking french to make sure my understanding was OK. They took the necessary time...Yes, it is expansive, but Dublin is awfully expansive. Up to now the service is worth the price. Very qualitative. Thank you very much.
Fantastic experience: Thanks to a school project, I spent 20 days in Dublin. From the very beginning, the agency eazycity welcomed us and supported us throughout our entire stay. Very punctual and well organized, especially Alessia, Elena, and Clayton, who were the tutors that accompanied us during our activities and helped us get to know and love Dublin!
Fantastic experience: Hi,I'm Romina! I've been in Dublin for 3 weeks with my schoolmates (we were 15 people),for a working experience. The agency EazyCity (Alessia,Elena,Cleiton and the others who are part of it) has been amazing in everything, always on time and always there to help us. I haven't other words, everything went very good and it was also funny! Thank u all so much for everything,i hope to meet you in the future for an other experience like this one. See you soon, bye!
Negative experience: It is the worst accommodation company I have ever seen and stayed in Dublin. The firm is always taking too much money and it takes deposit every single unnecessary reason. The workers are bad and not restpect people.
Fantastic experience: I am Emanuele Apicella, I am so happy about the eazycity’s staff. Cleiton is the best.
Fantastic experience: My name is Luca Branca and I am happy with the EazyCity staff, Cleiton has always helped me.
Fantastic experience: I am Noemi Rocco and I am very happy with the staff at Eazy City, among whom is Cleiton, who always proves to be available.
Fantastic experience: Hello, I am Mattia Fantuzzi. I am really doing well with the Eazycity agency. A staff that is always present and attentive, especially Cleiton.
Positive experience: I am Gemma di Candito, and I am very happy with my stay in one of Eazycity's houses. Excellent staff, especially Cleiton.
Fantastic experience: I lived at the Connaught house for 1 month. Nice house and garden. Good location, close to green Luas
Fantastic experience: EazyCity is a fantastic company, with an incredible and dedicated staff. Michelle is the highlight in this service and advisory process. Always available and willing to accommodate any situation, she is a sensation. Mention should also be made of Loris, who is always pleasant and dedicated. Very happy to have had the opportunity to meet this company and team.
Fantastic experience: Of great usefulness. Prepared, kind, and extremely helpful staff. A real and efficient support.
Negative experience: Hello everyone: Unfortunately, I cannot agree with the good reviews. My experience with EazyCity was not so nice. I would like to briefly share my experiences here. I am in Dublin for three months and originally planned to live in one of the agency's accommodations for the entire period. After 4 days, I changed houses within EazyCity because I was not satisfied with its condition. However, the change was a 'lesser of two evils'. After 1.5 weeks, I switched from the agency to a 'homestay' that I had checked out beforehand. What was good and what was bad about EazyCity: First, the good that justifies one star. EazyCity was always very helpful and responded quickly and kindly when I complained. They were able to facilitate a change within a few days and even move me back into a single room. But that’s about it. What I didn’t like: To illustrate the condition of the house, I have attached pictures. When entering the house, it had a very musty smell. The carpet had started to mold in many places, as can be seen in the stair picture. The furniture in the kitchen also had mold, which I find absolutely unacceptable for the cutlery and dishes. The refrigerators were not sealed, which led to the fresh air condensing inside and dripping onto the food continuously. The bathroom, well, just look at the pictures, was barely large enough to turn around in. The ceiling was moldy and the fixtures were from post-war times. The room was actually quite okay and even clean, apart from the old furniture. However, the first house I lived in had a room that was hardly larger than the bathroom just mentioned. (No joke) So I can definitely recommend that no one should move in there or only as an absolute last resort until something better is found. It is, of course, difficult to maintain a house with constantly changing residents, but one should expect this given the rent prices charged by EazyCity. On EazyCity's homepage, you only see the somewhat nice rooms, which also has its reasons. Fortunately, after 1.5 weeks, I found a homestay that I moved into immediately. There, I pay nearly €200 less per month, have a single room, and a really modern house with a modern kitchen and bathroom. Otherwise, I can really only recommend planning a stay in Dublin. It is very nice here and the 'pub culture' is amazing. Best regards, Mischa
Negative experience: Very bad service, residence in very bad condition and no one responds or intervenes (in case of a leak for example for me). Moreover, all employees have full access to your room, whether you are present or not.
Fantastic experience: Great service, great team, just great in every way.
Fantastic experience: I live in one of the houses of Eazy City and it has been an amazing experience. They are willing to help you in everything possible and for those who are exchange students, this is incredible. I can only thank Michelle for all the help and professionalism. She found the perfect house for me, with easy access and close to everything I need, plus she always did everything to make me feel happy and satisfied with Eazy City's service. I highly recommend!
Fantastic experience: My summer in Dublin was amazing, and a large part of that had to do with the apartment I was staying in. Loris from Eazycity helped me settle in and find the best place for me and my needs. It was my first time living on my own, let alone in another country. Having a safe place to stay with friendly people like Loris ensuring that everything is going well, meant a lot to me and contributed to an amazing stay in Ireland.
Fantastic experience: I stayed in Dublin for 6 weeks and barely had any problems! The staff was great and always very quick to help, especially Loris who conveniently lived at my place as well. ;) even when my flight to Dublin was 3 hours late when I arrived (on a Sunday on top of that), the check in was no problem at all thanks to the nice people working there. Would definitely recommend. :)
Positive experience: Stayed in Dublin for 7 months. During my stay, I lived in three different places. While the first two were outdated and in need of renovations, the third one was in a new student residence. The rent is a bit high but normal for Dublin. All places were well located. Close to the city centre, supermarkets and public transport. Plus point for the staff, especially Loris and Cristina. They were quick to answer when I had a question and were really helpful. Overall, it was a nice experience.
Fantastic experience: Hello, I have been staying for a while in an eazycity house in the center of Dublin and I have nothing to complain about, support is always helpful when requested, staff is always ready to assist, I had many questions answered by Michele who is always very attentive and helpful, great house with all utensils facing the bus stop.
Fantastic experience: Thanks you very much good customer service and beautiful house 534 south circular road Dublin 8
Fantastic experience: I have been living in a house from EazyCity for 6 months and I have absolutely nothing to complain about. I was very lucky to meet Michele, who is an excellent professional. She is always very attentive and ready to help at all times. I always recommend it to all my friends who are coming to Dublin.
Fantastic experience: Eazycity treated me very well. The house I stayed in was great, well located and very clean. The atmosphere in the house was superb, we all got along very well. I recommend it.
Fantastic experience: Super friendly staff, they are always available for helping you out with any small issue. I spent few months in a flat shared at Phibsborough and it was lovely ! The area is very nice and the room was spacious and bright. Strongly recommended for short term stay!
Fantastic experience: A beautiful experience, in the house where we stayed we met friends from all over the world, the agency was essential as a support and assistance during the time we were looking for work, the staff was always very kind and helpful especially when there were difficulties, they always knew how to find the best way to help us. Very nice initiatives like parties, job workshops, and guided tours. Not to mention the convenience of not having too many documents to handle, especially if you have just arrived in a new city. Well done guys, keep up the great work.
Fantastic experience: Great service, never had a problem and always available.
Fantastic experience: Great to deal, as host family is important for me to have a good reference for students that will stay at my place and I don't have any complain of any of them, I feel very secure with EazyCity. Michelle Pupo the manager is always very helpful
Fantastic experience: I stayed one month in Dublin and the EazyCity Dublin team was very helpful and friendly. Good accomodation standards, I really enjoyed this experience!
Fantastic experience: Quality agency!! Attentive, available, and professional staff!! Areas with a very good location and houses
Fantastic experience: Cozy house in a beautiful neighborhood, helpful staff and great prices!
Fantastic experience: Great staff - very nice people who speak different languages! I stayed at 437 North Circular road for 4 months, if there were any problems I could always count on the staff! It was an old typical Dublin house, with carpet everywhere - but this is classic for Irish standards - so you really get the feel of an Irish home
Positive experience: Friendly and collaborative
Negative experience: Run away! They just want your money...
Negative experience: EVERYTHING IS BAD! The agency in question has zero professionalism, they take advantage of the work of the thousands of interns they have. Hidden fees that they don't inform you about until the end, and they charge you for any nonsense. My experience with the house is disastrous. Poor condition, dirty, old. They moved us to another accommodation because there were leaks in our room and the next one had to be closed because there were even more. You will live in a ridiculously small room in a shared house with 5-8 people (which means one kitchen, washing machine, etc., so cohabitation is usually complicated). The price is absurdly high for what they offer and they usually don't pay attention to the choice of the house, so they send you to whichever one suits them. In the end, very disappointed. I do not intend to rely on EazyCity for my upcoming trips.
Negative experience: I had the worst experience of my stay in Dublin because of this agency. First of all, I had booked a double room with a friend, eazycity confirmed that we would be together. I arrive at the house, an Italian was occupying my bed and I had to change rooms and go with a 50-year-old man. The emergency number, called 15 times, is not very useful because it's an intern who answers and can't do anything without her manager. I had to take a hotel. You might say that it's a bit of an exaggerated reaction, but even though my room was not the right one, the house was a wreck. I will attach photos to show you the wreck I was supposed to live in for 2 weeks at €170 a week. After sleeping at the hotel, I went to eazycity to ask to be with my friend in another house, and I met a manager who literally spoke very poorly to me, telling me that it was like that. Fortunately, my parents and my school fought for us, we got a refund for one week and the deposit. In short, I really do not recommend it, you will lose your money and your mental health.
Negative experience: I would give it one star because you can't put less.. dirty apartment, no heating in good condition, misleading services; as a student, sharing an apartment, there was only one table for four......
Negative experience: The rented house was in bad condition and very dirty. (Bed was torn, bathroom was moldy, furniture was broken...)
Positive experience: The only good point of this agency is that it's flexible. The acommodations are not awful but they are far from the comfort shown on the website. Read carefully the terms and conditions before booking, just to see all the fees they take everywhere. Because yeah, they take a fee from your deposit : unbelievable !
Fantastic experience: Friendly, lovely, clean place to stay.
Fantastic experience: Good afternoon, I would like to express my appreciation for the professionalism and quality of the service received from EazyCity, specifically from Nerea Arnal, who has demonstrated her great capability and both human and professional quality through her actions. Without a doubt, you have my highest recommendations for future individuals interested in or in need of this service. Thank you very much and receive a big hug!
Fantastic experience: Thanks to Nerea for her availability and precision in the directions... great Nerea!!!
Fantastic experience: I travelled in Dublin for a few days and i chose EazyCity Dublin for my accommodation. This agency is really helpful, they gave me all the details concerning my arrival and one agent was waiting for me at the address. The house was beautiful, very clean and full-equipped, and they answered to all my question very quickly. Thank you Silvia and all the team for this fabulous experience, I recommend this agency to everybody!! Enjoy the time in Ireland, and book with EazyCity ! Love
Fantastic experience: I stayed with Eazycity Dublin for just 2 days but it was very good, when I arrived in the house everything was as I was excepting. Thanks to Stella that took my booking.
Fantastic experience: My family and I stayed for a few days with eazycity Dublin and we had a great time :) clean house, a few kilometers away and well connected to the center, very friendly staff and excellent prices :) Highly recommended :)
Fantastic experience: I was with eazycity dublin accomodation in the end of the year for a week end. I found the home and the room very clean. I had the pleasure to be in contact with Stella, she gave me all information i need to do self check in. I suggest eazycity dublin to everyone
Fantastic experience: Very central office location and helpful staff. Good standard accommodation to rely on for your first weeks in Ireland. Thanks
Negative experience: It has been a nightmare. I have to be thankful that my flatmates were nice and funny people, because they have been the only positive thing about my stay in Eazycity houses. I lived in two Eazycity houses in Dublin, for 5 months and half, more or less. Anyways, the prices are ridiculously high, even for an expensive city like Dublin, 620/per month with bills for a TWIN ROOM. They obviously take advantage of Dublin housing crisis and in January 2018 they will increase the rent (+20 euros every month). The first house had a nice position, north, 20 minutes on foot from the city center. But on the inside was very bad. It had five bedrooms, every room had two bed but except for one bedroom all the other ones were very small and without enough storage space for two people's clothing. In total we were 10, TEN PEOPLE in a house for 5 or 6 at his best. There were 3 showers, two were ensuite, so used by the people in the rooms (4 in total). The other 6 people had to share the common's bathroom shower. Imagine the mess and the humidity of the bathroom, that was without windows or aspiration, by the way. In the kitchen there were no scissors (I had to buy one pair), and a lot of cutlery and pots were unusable. The washing machine was broken, they fixed it after two weeks we reported it. There was one ONE clothes horse for everybody to dry the clothes, actually also another one, a broken one of course. In my room there was no working light bulbs. The dishwasher wasn't working at all, dirty dishes (accurately rinsed before) weren't cleaning. The walls were full of spots, the floor full of cracks. An abandoned "men at work" signal in the patio. They gave me just ONE pair of bed sheets (I had to buy some more to have a change, of course). They made cleaning once a month and we had to put our food in plastic bags so the cleaner would have known that that food didn't need to be dumped. Once, before a cleaning, two people forgot to do so and not only all of their perfect good food got dumped but all the tenants had to pay a fine because the cleaner considered this "a total mess". Even if we actually cleaned the house before, fearing for more money-grabbing. Despite our attemps to explain on person (at Eazycity headquarter) the situation, they took the money from our deposit anyways. At once the ceiling was dripping water from the bathroom upstairs and we had to put a bucket to avoid a lake in the middle of the kitchen, we called Eazycity for help but they did nothing, and we also felt unsafe because the water was dripping very close to two lights, wich is electric stuff... There was a fire alarm that started to beep without any reason, and never stopped. The heating system was making a strong annoying noise like a never stopping car horn, even in the middle of the night. The second house was way worse. It was literally in the middle of nothing, in a suburban district, a place where is impossible to live comfortably without a car. The red luas was nearby but that was it. The closest lidl for doing the groceries was 27 minutes far by walking. The common area was pretty little for all of us, since we where 7. I had to limit my food storage cause there wasn't enough space for my food. We had just ONE FRIDGE. I literally had HALF SHELF in the fridge to put my food on. The room I was in was of 9 square meters and I had to put my clothes outside the closet. The Eazycity tenants (yes, one bed is given free to an Eazycity intern...) was supposed to communicate my complaints to his managers but he wasn't able to speak a good English, so I never understood anything I said to him. My complaints at the phone about the fridge and the closet have been, of course, completely useless. The moquette in room and on the stairs weren't cleaned since ages and smelled very bad. There was a part of the house close to a window where water was dripping from the ceiling every time it rained. The heating was working but some windows were broken (since before I got into the house)... so a lot of energy probably got wasted. Avoid this housing company until death.
Fantastic experience: I've been a guest of EazyCity on and off for 5 years, probably 30 weeks in all. Staying there again at the moment. They've always been accommodating and friendly. I would certainly recommend them to anyone looking for an affordable multi-week option, in an otherwise wonderful (but expensive for housing) city like Dublin.
Positive experience: I recommend the company for those who are students and arriving in Dublin for the first time (although the price may be a bit high). I especially thank Bethania Diniz for her attention.
Fantastic experience: The attention and efficiency of the service is unbeatable. I am very grateful to Nerea Arnal for her involvement and help from the beginning, keeping me informed at all times, with great professionalism and resolution.
Positive experience: My personal experience with this company is positive. While it is true that I am currently staying with a host family, and the house, room, and bathroom are in EXCELLENT condition (it is also true that for €215 weekly it shouldn't be any less). It is true that I live far from the Dublin 16 center, but looking at other reviews, I believe it has been the best choice. The person I have dealt with (Nerea) has always been attentive and correct via email, even though I have changed my mind quite a few times and she has had to put up with me, she has always been very attentive and kind.
Negative experience: Not worth the money! I stayed with EazyCity Dublin for a month and I must say, for the service provided it really is way overpriced! My housmates and me wrote several emails to EazyCity about problems with the house. None of them were taken seriously. A personal visit at their office and calls didn't help either. The kitchen had only one not broken chair, the dishwasher was broken (and still is) since two months. The matresses smell, the roof is a bit leaky, the shower is broken, windows are leaky, ... Mostly interns work there and they don't really care or don't speak english.
Fantastic experience: I stayed almost one month in Dublin and I can say that the EazyCity Dublin team was very helpful and friendly. In my opinion, it is the best choice for short term accommodation in the city. Keep always fingers crossed hoping to meet good roommates during your stay in the assigned house. To conclude, it is a great and organized service, their replies are very prompt and efficient. Highly suggested! Write me if any doubts.
Negative experience: Hi everybody. I'm writing just to try to help people to save money and don't go through a horrible experience when they are in Dublin. I went through the same nightmare which other people who gave their bad feedback went through. They are just about money and they don't mind customers care. I had to leave the house before the departure time, find another place more expensive and far and this because the guy that was working for them and sharing the house was rude, dirty, noisy and another one got drunk and somebody called the police because we all were scared. The house was dirty, and they keep 25€ each person for cleaning. When I was there they were hosting 5 persons in a week that means 125€ . How many hours must an housekeeper work to earn all that money? And the house hasn't been cleaned since centuries...I complained directly with them but no results. They waited more than 3 weeks to give the deposit back, keeping 25€ of course! I told them straight that they must close and find another job. Don't go to this agency.
Negative experience: I want to document an experience that happened to my niece with this company, and in this way, warn you about what renting is really like and think it over very well; I am leaving photos that she has sent us. This is what happened to her as soon as she entered the place. Obviously, she is very disappointed, not only because the photos on their website have nothing to do with reality. 1) There is a central gas boiler inside her room, so I couldn’t sleep at all during the night since it kept turning on and off constantly, besides the noise and the smell of gas; I had to leave the window open all night. Therefore, I don’t think it is healthy at all to be in this room. 2) The kitchen was really dirty, and the oven, bathrooms, etc. And apparently, they take away 25 euros from the deposit for cleaning, which they inform you about on the same day you make the reservation. I don’t quite understand why when all this is found on the same day of check-in. 3) There is a protrusion in the room that can be dangerous or sharp since you constantly pass by it. 4) There is no space in the fridge since there are only 3 trays for 5 people sharing the house. 5) There are no locks in the bathrooms, so there is no privacy either. They have told her that in three days they will come to clean the common areas, which should have been done earlier. As for the rest, apparently, the blame lies with the owner of the house. But they don’t offer solutions.
Fantastic experience: Very reliable company, I lived there for 5 months. Very honest and if everything is ok when you leave the house, they give your deposit back. Highly recommended!!!!
Negative experience: Guys, just don't give them money. They absolutely don't care about the customers. Take the money and that's it. They've been fixing the dryer for 3 months. The plumbing in the house doesn't work and they've been fixing it for 4 days. (All this fun is showing outside, but they have St. Patrick's Day. No time.)
Fantastic experience: Very professional staff. I would recommend their services.
Fantastic experience: They serve you very well and have nice places to live.
Negative experience: They do not respect their customers. We had reserved a room for 2 with a friend 2 months before leaving and they put us in a closet where luckily there were 2 beds! The bathroom was dirty and there were wood bugs everywhere! We paid an unjustified price for the accommodation we received! Furthermore, every excuse is good to take a little deposit! They treat their customers like fools and do nothing to ensure they are satisfied! It's good for meeting international people but I think it's better to go through another agency!
