Negative experience: Dealing with Alex,Two years waiting on a refund from them getting pretty upset after no return calls etc. But won't be going away, I haven't turned to social media yet, I will give them 1 more opportunity to contact me.

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of booking with Polari travel recently for a trip to Porto. Everything from our flights to the hotel were sorted with ease and due to this we had a fantastic holiday without having to worry about anything. We dealt with Alex who was extremely friendly and kind. She was also very knowledgeable on different sites to see and activities to do while in Porto and provided us with some recommendations which made our holiday that bit better. Negative experience: We had a group booking with Polari travel. Worst customer service experience I’ve ever had with any type of business. From start to finish horrendous. From bags not being booked and people having to pay extortionate rates at airport when they arrived after already paying Polaris for same. to boarding passes not scanning. People booked on wrong flights. Payed transfers horrendous (buses not turning up). When issues were raised about same Fiona disappearing and refusing to answer phone! Stay away from Polaris they are not a travel agents they are a shambles in every sense

Negative experience: Horrendous experience. We booked with Fiona from Polari as a team to take our children to the European championships in Slovenia. I was charged for a flight I didn't want or choose. I was put in a room at the hotel I can only describe as a box. (2 adults, 1 child , 1 infant ). I was told I am not allowed a refund . I had the worse experience with Fiona & Polari. I had to book my own flights over costing more expenses. Coming home from Slovenia to Dublin we were not checked onto the flight. I had to wait untill this was rectified. I was then given exit seats on the plane which was impossible as i travelled with a infant. I'm general i was completely robbed blind and had a Horrendous experience with Polari Never ever again.

Negative experience: We had the unfortunate luck of Polari Travel being the mandatory travel agent for a karate Ireland competition in Slovenia. It was a group trip, and the prices should have been softened, but after the trip it was discovered that we were hugely over charged. We were charged €1720 for 2 people, travel on Ryanair to a quiet Italian airport, hotel (twin room normal cost €470 before group discount) and transfer 2 hours from airport. It doesn't add up. I won't be using Polari again, and I recommend getting alternative quotes.

Negative experience: Stay away from this shower. These travel agents are the absolute worst I've ever come across. They have zero professionalism. I mean, I just got back from the European Karate Championships in Slovenia, and let me tell you, dealing with them was a complete nightmare. Fiona absolutely takes the cake for being the most ignorant and arrogant woman I've ever had to deal with. And don't even get me started on their constant blame game and their inability to follow through on anything they promised to organize. This company is a complete and utter shambles.
