Negative experience: Me and the wife were told over the phone we were getting a private transfer, and we did when we arrived, however, on return, we just arrived at Dubai airport and got off the bus along with 12-15 other people, never again, that is 5 customers (family) that will never book with Tropical sky ever again. Liars, just be straight with people upfront, lesson learned.

Fantastic experience: Dan was extremely helpful when booking our upcoming holiday, a couple of quick phone calls and we had all our flights, accommodation and transfers in two countries booked, great service and much appreciated!

Fantastic experience: My husband and I bought the holiday in January, for the month of February. We flew from Dublin to New York where we stayed for 3 days and from New York we flew to Mexico. Negative experience: Booked a very expensive holiday to Mexico , we paid €500 deposit , our flights , dub to gatwick , gatwick to Mexico , were changed which meant they wanted us to fly to Heathrow then make our own way over to Gatwick to get the flight to Mexico we actually booked , they added another flight no extra cost but extra hassle , we cancelled holiday with a loss of the €500, they advised that since both airports were in London and within 300km distance I could not get a refund . The girl I was talking to was so lovely and apologetic but that’s no good to my pocket …

Negative experience: Bad advice lead to us missing our flight ,after spending thousands on a safari holiday. Think twice and always check the details yourself .

Fantastic experience: We booked our holiday to Dubrovnik & Sipan Island through Marie Howcroft in Tropical Sky and everything was perfectly organised. We had 5 transfers including a speedboat to and from Sipan Island and they were all seamless. We had done research on the hotels we wanted to book but Marie got us a great deal in both of them - better than other travel companies I had spoken to. All our interactions with Tropical Sky were by phone and email and we never had any issues. I would definitely recommend Tropical Sky and will be booking our next holiday with them!

Negative experience: Booked my Honeymoon with Sky Tropical and needed to change the dates due to unforeseen circumstances. I was advised this would cost an extra €300 and that if we did change the dates a higher percentage of the holiday would have to be paid with no explanation given as to why. Looked into booking with other agencies and direct with Emirates, other options were more competitively priced so much so that it made sense to cancel our trip, loose the deposit and rebook! They refused to price match our trip as we had booked and paid a deposit already so that sums up their customer service commitment. I would not recommend booking through Sky Tropical as once you book the level of service and support is very poor. My family have used them for years so they’ve lost not only mine but all of our business for long haul destinations!

Negative experience: We used tropical sky to book our honeymoon, and to say we were disappointed is an understatement. When we booked it in person in their office in Dublin, we were shown beautiful pictures of a room with a jacuzzi outside on the balcony, but when we arrived, there was no jacuzzi. After arriving, I contacted Tropical Sky, but they were absolutely no help and took no blame they never even empathised with me or apologised. They argued that I was not shown that room and that the room they booked for me was the one I got. I would not recommend using this company, and if you do use it, then make sure that what they have shown you is what you are getting.

Negative experience: Really bad experience - they have a very competitive quote but once booked and paid I got no support, we were long haul as a family of 4 and had big issues at every airport we went to as tickets were all booked individually and children as unaccompanied minors…… disaster , I booked with an agent for reassurance and got zero - will not use again or recommend

Negative experience: For a few years now we have booked our holiday with Tropical sky. As usual we booked this year, but due to unfortunate circumstances we asked if this could be rescheduled for another date we were reassured this would be ok and as we wanted to change the dates we were not looking for a refund but the money we had paid to transfered to the new dates. I was informed i would be contacted as they were waiting for the hotel to come back with a price and it may be cheaper as we were not going in peak seasion. After 4weeks we contacted Tropical sky to see was there any update, and then we were told it was going to cost us €250.00 per person to change the dates this was an administrator charge. The person who was now looking after our booking had no more interest speaking to us it felt as though i was taking up her time. I will now claim on my travel insurance and NEVER book with Tropical Sky again.

Negative experience: No transfer from airport of arrival to your hotel. No representative to meet you when you arrive at your destination airport.

Negative experience: Have been on 2 holidays with tropical sky each time was great, this time the employee every time I would call for quotation he had a bad bad attitude like he was doing me a favour when in fact it woukd be the opposite way around as if be handing over thousands, this reason I have gone with sunway this year. And won't be using tropical sky again. Such a shame as had great experience beforehand.
