Abbey Travel Killarney

Negative experience: Initially they seemed so lovely and on the ball. But having veered off what we thought we wanted for our honeymoon (5star all inclusive) and asked for additional help with a more relaxed less hotel driven trip we never heard back from them. So disappointed as I met the travel agent in person and was told she'd get back to me. Going on a couple months now and still nothing. I understand it's a busy time of year but even an email acknowledging this would have been better than being ignored. Such a shame

Fantastic experience: We booked a cruise with Abbey Travel with the great help of Orla. Orla couldn't have been more professional and helpful. This was the first time we did a cruise and were quite anxious and she guided us all along. Great experience and definitely recommend. Will book further cruises through Abbey Travel

Negative experience: Unfortunately I had a bad experience with this travel agency. I feel they are unprofessional and told me they couldn’t book my flight because it was after 5pm because I’d have to book a ticket before 5pm even though they are open until 5.30pm. I had already been there Saturday when they told me she couldn’t look at flights due to not having some kind of password. I understood that and told her I would be back in Monday after 5pm and there was no problem she told me. The lady with her Monday adv me they would ring ring Tuesday and they took my details so I could book my flights over the phone and have yet not received a call. I have now booked with a different travel agency. I found this agency very unprofessional. From the response I was waiting for ye to call there was no call… had no other option to go with another agency… the reason the agency couldn’t look at my flights is because the passwords were invalid and the agent didn’t have the password I was informed and The agent couldn’t log in and the agency even tried ringing someone else to get some sort of password and the agent told me she would check flights out and to come back Monday so I didn’t decline I specially called again Monday and I was out that door at 5.30 and I don’t know why someone bothered to work overtime even they didn’t even bother to ring so I could book my flight so your response is invalid

Negative experience: Arrived after their lunch break and were told they were closing… very pricey too

Fantastic experience: I dealt with Andrea Capuozzo from the Killarney branch through email/phone and she was so helpful. She went out of her way to get the best prices for a trip to Australia. A lot cheaper than other travel agents I used previously.
