Fantastic experience: This was the most rewarding and fun holiday I've ever had. I was terrified to drive a camper van but Kevin put my mind at ease and after showing me a few tricks I enjoyed every minute of the journey and overnight stays. The camper was super comfy with everything you need. I didn't want to get back into my car at the end of the trip. I'll be back soon!

Fantastic experience: Just enjoyed a cracking 3 day adventure after hiring a Camper Van from Kevin at Ireland West Motorhomes. Brilliant service and Van from start to finish. Kevin had a clean well presented Van ready for me to collect after me only booking it the evening before. He went through everything with me and eased any nerves I had as it was my first time hiring a camper Van. I had a fantastic road trip from Mayo to Galway, Cork and Kerry before returning home. The Camper Van was very reliable, Comfortable and for great value. Kevin provided me with excellent service and I am all ready planning my next adventure. I cannot recommend this business highly enough

Negative experience: The experience we had with them was terrible, we rented a van in August and after having a small bump with a car that we broke a mirror on, they charged us 1056 euros from the deposit. At no point did we feel supported by Kevin after the incident; he did not intervene between the driver and us knowing that we did not speak the language. Do not hire with them as vacations are for enjoying, not for being worried and helpless in case of an incident. I do not recommend them; the treatment was horrible.
Hello Cristian , your partner Virginia Laporte has already given us a 1 star review and I have explained the situation under her post. Her post was full of filthy lies and so is yours. I have over 100 lines of communication between myself and ye from email and whatsapp so to accuse me of not been helpful to you is just more disgusting lies. The truth is that you broke 2 wing mirrors , one on our vehicle and the other on a parked Mercedes and you then claimed that you were not responsible for the cost of replacements. This is all on our messages and I will happily share these messages here if necesary. We have lots of visitors from Spain renting our vehicles and thank God we never had to deal with any one as problematic as ye. Your review stands out like a sore thumb amongst all the other positive 5 star reviews and it is quite obvious that your review is as a result of you been charged for the damages that you are responsible for. Do you really think its ok to damage other peoples property and not pay for it?

Fantastic experience: Have rented a camper on two occasions with Kevin and the team at ireland west motorhomes. Can't be faulted in any way. Go above and beyond to help and accommodate you in anyway possible. We live in wexford and it's worth the drive over to mayo as you know your getting a top class service. Your car is safe in the yard there and set off on a holiday you won't forget. Hope to see you again soon Kevin.

Negative experience: Beware of this company that sells an experience in their LUXURY caravans. The microwave didn't work, the faucet was broken, and you need help to wash dishes. The mattresses were stuck with duct tape and had boards that jabbed you while sleeping, there was mold in the bathroom and dirt everywhere. They charge you €60 for a dirty quilt and two dirty pillows that smelled bad and were stained; we had to make do. I must say that they also took more than €1000 from a deposit for a mirror that we didn't even have the chance to dispute and we had to claim it back. On the day of the return, when we told him all this, he also became aggressive with us. Beautiful Ireland and the people there are wonderful, but BE CAREFUL RENTING HERE BECAUSE IT'S NOT WHAT THEY OFFER AND THEY TAKE YOUR DEPOSIT FOR NO REASON. My accusations are as true as the photos, a picture is worth a thousand words.
Virginia , we are very disappointed with your review of our service but can completely understand your frustration after damaging 2 wing mirrors , one of these from a parked Mercedes. Coincidently , you had made no complaints about cleanliness of your vehicle or any other very minor damages before you were informed that you were liable for repairs to wing mirrors. Several of your accusations are untrue and dont even warrant a reply. Kevin
Fantastic experience: MOST AMAZING EXPERIENCE! This was one of my favourite trips ever. The Motorhome was as clean as a whistle and in mint condition. It was very economical to drive. I highly recommend Ireland West Motorhomes to everyone. You will have a blast!

Fantastic experience: Top class motorhomes and customer service from start to finish. We have rented campervans with Kevin for the last two years. The campervans are spotless and extremely comfortable. Kevin went above and beyond to ensure all aspects of rental went smoothly. Fantastic experience: The best weeks holiday we had in a long time, 2 adults, 3 kids and 1 grandparent for the last few days, stayed in the Rimor Evo (4/5 Berth). Camper was spotless, a 22 reg, easy to drive, we had breakfast, lunch, dinner and slept as comfortable as our house for a week. The website is super easy to navigate and booked in confidence. The best part dealing with Kevin the owner, easy to deal with and a pleasure to talk to. We will 100% be back for another trip if we don't buy one before then. The tag line on the branding is "live the dream" we certainly did. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Recently rented a campervan from Kevin and honestly couldnt fault the experience from start to finish. We explored the wild Atlantic way route (N) starting in achill and finishing at malin head donegal. It was our 1st time in a motor home so we were a little nervous but from the get go Kevin made it all so comfortable explaining every inch of the van before we left and reassuring us he was only a text/call away if we had any questions. We traveled with our 1 year old son and he had as much fun as us, it was easy to fit his car seat and there is a net on the beds to ensure he didn't roll out. Definitely recommend and hoping it wont be our last campervan trip.

Fantastic experience: Have rented a campervan from Kevin for a week every Sept for the last 3 yrs. Always had great service. Van is always impeccably clean. Just back from Donegal in his 2 berth Fiat Ducato. Has everything you need including a shower/toilet. Will be back to rent again.

Fantastic experience: We had an excellent experience with Ireland West Motorhomes and would highly recommend Kevin and his wife for their friendliness, kindness and professionalism. They even loaned us their personal child-seat for the Bela Mauritus camper, as I was struggling to fit one of my own (an awkward Axikid model that doesn't take kindly to being relocated). We had a lovely few days around Sligo and Mayo in the Bela camper, we didn't venture too far relatively speaking and Sligo is our home county but the camper was a huge hit with both our kids and with our friends' whose weekend in Enniscrone coincided with ours and they spent more time with us around Bella than they did their own hotel. Looking forward to our return visit! :)

Fantastic experience: If like us you are new to camper vans, then look no further than Ireland West Motorhomes. Kevin was so helpful from the beginning. He gave us all the informations we needed to prepare our trip to Donegal and the introduction of the day was thorough. “Bella” was ours for a week. We got a spotless vehicle and great support from Kevin when we had a slight issue with how to operate the gas. Returning the camper was as easy and straightforward as collecting it. Fantastic experience: I had the Toledo for 2 weeks and found it comfortable and well equipped. The owner was very helpful and on hand to answer questions by phone when I'd forgotten how something worked.

Fantastic experience: I couldn't recommend them enough. Kevin is an absolute gentleman and was so helpful from start to finish. It was our first time ever in a campervan and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We headed away for 3 days and took in most of Clare and Kerry's coastline. The stunning views and locations you just don't get to see when staying in hotels. The campervan was easy to drive and park and the bed was surprising very comfortable. Fantastic experience: Dealing with Ireland West Motorhomes was stress free from the moment I phoned. The depot is easy to find using google maps. Our camper was new and spotlessly clean. We were first timers but felt confident hitting the road after the advice we got from Kevin. He assured us he was at the end of the phone if we needed him. Fantastic experience: Had a fantastic 6 nights in one of Kevin's Vans. We have never done a camper van before so it was a whole new experience. Kevin explained everything fully and was very friendly and approachable. We had a great experiences at all the sites we visited and once we were used to the housekeeping chores that come with campervans we were well away.
