USA Summer Camp

Fantastic experience: USA Summer Camp were so helpful to me, they contacted me frequently to help with my application and help me move through the stages. The practice interview was really helpful and I got placed at a camp very quickly. They were also very accommodating for my sister and I as we wanted to go to camp together. I would definitely recommend them and I was very grateful for their help.

Negative experience: Stole my deposit during Covid

Negative experience: If I could give 0 stars I would, They were a disgrace of a business, So yes other agencies would help with jobs and even answer your queries , No not this agency , If they even reply it is no help to your question. All of these added on expenses which were hidden when you sign up. That wasn’t even part of the experience but the audacity of not even answering the important questions we needed to know the employees of USA summer camps wouldn’t even know the answer. All of my friends who were also going on a J1 with other agencies knew every answer I was asking by asking their agencies so I would just like to end this note on AVOID AVOID AVOID.

These girls helped me get placed at an amazing camp in Maine for this summer 2024 as a camp counsellor & swimming instructor and I am so excited!❤️ I would highly recommend this agency!

Negative experience: Kept all of my money (over €450) after my placement was cancelled due to Covid-19. If you’re considering a J1 I would highly recommend going with a more trusted provider!

Positive experience: very supportive , good resources and instructions to make process easier

Negative experience: Do not use one of these middle man companies, USA summer camp took roughly £700 off me for doing nothing other than providing documents you can find on your owm and then took a further $500 off me when I was fired for no reason. Do the research yourself, you can get all the documents you need on your own and it won't cost you anywhere near what these companys take off you. One of my friends went to do the same thing I did he was quoted $1700 payment for 2 months of work from the middle man company, when he contacted the camp on his own directly looking for the exact same job the camp told him the salary was $2200 so not only was the company gonna take roughly £700 off him for "paperwork and support" they would pocket a further $500 off of his hard work. DO NOT LET THEM SCAM YOU.

Fantastic experience: I started the journey with USA summer camps in May of this year, they have been very helpful in answering the many questions I had in relations to camps, Covid, visa’s etc. Without the help of the team I would have not gotten a camp in America for summer 2022, a surreal thought that is actually happening. They are so nice and easy to talk to with any issues you have I would 100% recommend going onto their website and having a look and maybe jetting of to America for summer 2022 ❤️

Fantastic experience: I started my application process in September and I have just been placed in December! All the staff from USA Summer Camp have been so helpful and supportive throughout the whole process. I can't recommend them enough!

Negative experience: Refusing to give refunds to all the young people who's camps have decided not to open due to covid. Basically keeping the money. Totally shocked and saddend that there are companys and directors out there doing this to students. As an update. Went to small claims and retrieved 80% of the outlay. Mediator endorsed our claim. So well worth the small fee to get the funds back.

Fantastic experience: USA Summer Camp helped me have the best three summers of my life! Becuase of them I felt so supported through the whole process of getting my Visa and finding a camp that was perfect for me. Knowing that I was always able to contact them while I was over in America either on email or through calling the 24 hour support team was also really important to me. I would recommend everyone to go to camp with this agency as they are the kindest, most supportive group of people and will make the entire process as easy and smooth as possible.

The USA summer camp Ireland team were in constant contact with me straight away. The application process was super easy & there was also a monthly direct debit plan which was convenient for me as a student ! The office were always there to answer my questions and getting me excited for the summer ahead. With every phone call their infectious positive energy got me more excited for the summer ahead. I got placed at a camp which was perfectly suited for my personality and where I got to do what I LOVE for 2 months. As cliche as it sounds it was truly The Best Summer Of My Life. The friends , memories and the traveling - none of this would be possible without USA Summer Camp Ireland.

Fantastic experience: As someone who had zero clue how to organise a J1 and all my documents, I found USA Summer Camp to be extremely helpful from organizing all the mandatory aspects, like the DS2019 form, to all my small queries along the way. I'm so happy I chose USA Summer Camp to plan my J1 and certainly do it all again with them.

Fantastic experience: Great service over the phone. Process a little over complicated at times. As I applied late I wasn’t expecting an easy process but with a few issues and top class help from the team over the last two weeks, I can say I’m planning to move to New York in 2 weeks for a great summer. A tutorial video on the website would be helpful showing the best way to prepare and start an application along with all the DS forms that people need to plan for All in all very happy
