Negative experience: flight got cancelled and we were told by airline to rebook with travel agent and e-travel’s customer service is terrible, they hung up on us multiple times and didn’t provide us with any help, quality of the call was shocking too. To be fair if the flight wasn’t cancelled I would’ve given them a higher rating because the rest of the booking was ok.

Positive experience: I found my dealings with this company to be very professional. When booking , I'd highly recommend paying the extra few Euro for support after the booking, which allows you to ask the customer help team as many questions as you need to about your trip. I'd use them again. They were able to make a change in my flight with little notice at a good price. Their online portal allows you to keep track of your bookings. I'd suggest paying a little extra too to cover the cost of any potential changes in your flight itinerary.

Fantastic experience: Originally booked flights to Vietnam but had to change the flights to the following week due to visa issues. Upon emailing, Caitlyn responded and was kind and compassionate. I felt I messed around trying to book different dates and ended up asking about wrong flight times. Finally after realising the right dates Caitlyn acted accordingly and got me the flights I needed with a change fee which was reasonable. Negative experience: I would never use this agency again or recommend it. I booked to Orlando and there were flight changes (understandable as we booked quite a bit in advance). When I got to the airport and to the check in desk , E Travel had not issued me a ticket over, just a return leg . My partner had both ways despite us booking together under his name. What ensued was panic and upset but thankfully after a wait, a very efficient worker called Barbara from Delta was able to issue the ticket and sign her name to it for the next leg. I was offered a 50 euro voucher from E travel to use with them but I have no interest as I never want to do business with them again.

Negative experience: I booked a flight for my parents to the USA via Skyscanner which turned out to be via eTravel. The cost of the flight was just shy of €1000 return. However due to the new variant of covid my parents were apprehensive and decided to postpone their USA trip. I contacted eTravel and explained the situation to them. They were in fact polite and appeared to be very helpful until they began charging ridiculous amounts of money to change the flight dates (€780 roughly). I requested a voucher/credit to use which I was denied. The excuse was that "this is what the airline are saying", "the airline have said" etc. Then out of the blue when confronted on the high price to change the flight dates, they were able to reduce the cost by €400 miraculously. They stated that "the airline have waived" this cost from the €780. I then decided to call the airline directly and explain my case. Within 5 minutes they were able to offer me either a full refund or credit voucher to the original cost of the flight. I took the voucher as we will be purchasing another flight to the US. There were no problems. I was even informed that the type of tickets that I booked were eligible for changing and cancelling and that they didn't understand why this was not done for me in the first place. I learned from this experience that eTravel are money hungry and do not value their customers at all. They are fraudsters in my opinion. I was so disappointed by this company that even though they were pleasant and professional to deal with via email, I cannot bring myself to rate them more than the 1-star due to their dishonesty. I wish there was a 0-star option. My advice to anyone booking via eTravel is DON'T. Book directly through the airline as a lot of the time it's cheaper and they are more honest than these 3rd party thieves. Finally, when my voucher had been approved I contacted eTravel voicing my disappointment. I still haven't gotten an apology or even a reply. Not very professional I feel. So please everyone that reads this....book directly! Less hassle, less cost! Hope this helps many people and their purses.

Fantastic experience: My flight got cancelled by that dirtbag of an airline Latam Brazil(avoid like the plague). I had a very bad feeling that a reschedule to suit my return date with my family wouldn't happen never mind a refund. A woman called Helen took the rains and engaged with Latam/BA and sorted it all out for me in a couple of hours. New flights nearly matching originals. Very professional. They deserve the praise here. I swore I would never book through an agent again but Etravels professionalism gives me renewed enthusiasm for booking with the likes of them again. If I had of booked directly with Latam it may have been a a different story altogether as their customer service is non-existent. A great day for me. Thanks Etravel.

Negative experience: i have emailed and called the company several times and have not answered or called back so I have resolved to google reviews to get your attention, unfortunately. A group of ladies booked a cruise trip last year and due to covid-19 it was cancelled. each person in the group independently paid therefore they were different customers and had no relations in concerns of booking. however, the person in charge of the cruise trips, took the initiative to cancel everyone's trip after a phone call after one of the group members told him to cancel their trip. they need not notify anyone ,not by email or call to inform of the cancellation or even asked consent to cancel it. now that the group members are asking for full refund he is offering to pay 47 euros because 'they' cancelled it before the company decided to cancel the trip. keep in mind, every individual had to or should I say, tried to contact him regarding this inadequate refund. if they had not contact him, the company would have just decided to ignored this and leave it in the backburner. this is extremely unprofessional and considering the reviews you have here, it makes me truely wonder if it true at all.

Fantastic experience: Got the best price from skyscanner.ie with e-Travel. Once tickets were ordered, we recieved our flight confirmation number from the airline (British Airways) within a few minutes. Unfortunately our flights were cancelled by the airline due to COVID-19. E-Travel were able to obtain a full refund for us from the airline. Outstanding travel agent, could not recommend more highly. There is always a concern if going with the cheapest flight option on comparison sites, but if its e-Travel, you are in safe hands.

Positive experience: Managed to get the majority of my money back for the flights i had booked to Canada. They took a £50 processing fee which I can probably live with as they are trying to stay in business and look after employees. Considering the price we paid for the flights it wasn't anything to lose sleep over. Found getting the money back was relatively straight forward

Negative experience: I booked my flights to India and they were cancelled due to COVID. E travel confirmed refunds after cutting EUR 50.00 as there processing fees and said refunds will be processed in 10 weeks.it has been 20 weeks they are not replying to email about the status of the refund. It has been 20 weeks following up on this. When calling to there office, they say to email as they have lot of queries.I don't think this is very professional, first to cut EUR 50.00 for processing and then not replying to refunds.

Negative experience: I had booked a ticket and had to cancel it due to covid 19. The ticket was cancelled on 7th April 2020 and still haven't got the refund. I have been mailing etravel from last 3-4 months previously there was a reply but from July there is no reply on my emails. I think this is very unprofessional of them. Negative experience: I needed to cancel flight to Thailand in June due to covid and financial circumstances. The airline is offering refunds but had to go through travel agency for refund. They charged me 50 euro processing fee for this. Considering I paid extra to e travel to arrange booking of seats and meals(and never used), I think its poor form to charge this fee at this time.

Negative experience: Booked a flight via Skyscanner to the US. Payment and flights confirmed, all was ok. The next day I received an email at 3.05 re Baggage, that they could not include baggage in my flight and if I did not respond by 4.00, my flight would be cancelled. Did not see this email until 7pm, called the next day and my flight had been cancelled. No phone call to warn me of this!! Had to search for new flights, and the prices had increased significantly. Negative experience: Never ever do business with this unprofessional company. I booked long haul international flight( Emirates) by getting directed to their portal through Skyscanner. Let’s have a look at their policies: 1.£25 for any kind of after-sales enquires and support (phone or email). 2. £100 as admin fee for rectifying smallest typo in name. This is advantage cost for below dependancies they create: 3. Any upgrade of class is possible through them only. Even Emirates refused to intervene due to policy constraints. 4. Worst: I got ONLY 25kg checked baggage for 11 hr long international flight where 40kg is offered by other agents( for same economy grade). Again Emirates couldn’t do anything here. 5. No free seat selection option available (even at Emirates website.) Above 3 points are extremely unusual for any long haul international flight.

Positive experience: I have used e-Travel Ireland a number of times for flights to the U.S. I can across them through Skyscanner, at first I was very skeptical as the flight prices were much lower than other websites or airlines directly (on average €150 lower). I searched reviews as I had never heard of them and struggled to find much on flights. In 2018 I decided to book my 1st flight, the conformation email took a few hours to come through but when I used my booking ref to check on Delta I could see my flight was confirmed. I will admit when no confirmation email came through I panicked & emailed them, I got a response within a couple of hours. So be aware the confirmation email can take a few hours to come through! Some of the flights have long layovers but that's not anything to do with e-Travel. I'm really happy with the prices for flights! I would love to see more direct flight options but again that's down to the airlines.

Fantastic experience: Booked flights with eTravel to Bali Indonesia via Dubai with Emirates. I was worried at first after reading the bad reviews. I also made an error when booking and supplied my email address incorrectly. I didn't pay for the support upgrade so I was expecting to be charged before they would even speak to me but when I called the customer service advisor was really good. He updated my email address so all the paperwork etc can straight to my email. After that I checked in online booked my seats etc via the Emirates site. I really can't complain about their customer service or prices etc. Many customers have left bad reviews because they want to change their destination or want to cancel etc. If you buy a non refundable ticket from any company you won't get a refund or be able to change destination etc. And some say they are afraid to fly to Dominican Republic etc but if the consulate are not saying it's not safe you have no right to refund you are actually choosing not to go because of personal reasons. People need to get a grip. If you book something read it and be committed to your trip and you will be fine. I had a great trip and the flights were the cheapest online! Thanks guys

Negative experience: They are fine, and cheap... as long as you don't need to do ANYTHING after you book the flight, otherwise it will cost you an additional €25 euro. For example, I didn't select seats when booking, so I went to the airline website (etihad) and they say I need to go back to the travel agents to select seats. But, there is no way to do that on the e-travel website, so I would need to contact someone and be charged €25 euro on top of the seat booking price. Not great.

Negative experience: I am not in the habit of writing complaints but I have been so utterly shocked by the poor customer service from eTravel. I unfortunately had to postpone my flights due to emergency surgery for my Father. I paid the €25 fee in the belief that I was going to get 'customer service.' Instead I received defensive unprofessional treatment. I worked in the airlines for over a decade and customer service all my life, hence I could not believe how rude and unhelpful eTravel were to me as a customer. I was accused of making up a story about my Father's emergency surgery. The last thing anyone needs in a crisis is to have their integrity questioned. There were unwilling to assist me with the high cost of changing my flight but this was not my issue. My issue was the manner in which they dealt with me. I initially dealt with one of their customer service team called Cristiana who was exceptionally rude and clearly unable to deal in a pleasant manner as one would expect from a customer service team member. Negative experience: I don’t often post reviews but I’ll make an exception for this bunch of thieves. They’ll happily take your money but will then offer zero customer support. Call them and they’ll put you on hold until your phone runs out of credit. Email them and you’ll get rude, nonsensical replies. Negative experience: Quite bad experience with the travel agency. The flight tickets is usually only little bit cheaper, till when you will not pay extra for card fee and and for them after sales service. You have not chance to change the date or other detail on your flight ticket if you don't pay to them service fee. You also don't see price what you should pay for changes, till when you don't pay the after sales service, I think it is quite unfair. I have right to see first "How much I should to pay for everything" and after decide, if I will pay the fee and the service.

Negative experience: Very disappointed with this company, I will NEVER book with them again. I paid an extra fee for After-Sales Service, which was no help at all. The girl on the phone was extremely rude made me out to be thick. But as they say you get what you pay for!

Fantastic experience: etravel were an excellent choice for us and considered our unique needs as they planned our itinerary. Every suggestion they made was superb, as they considered our budget, time constraints, and personal likes and dislikes.
