Fantastic experience: Second time using Shandon travel, firstly Michael organised a golf trip and went above and beyond to assist me with a few different choices and prices. Trip was superd. Danielle sorted my holiday to Budapest and was a pleasure to deal with. Will be coming back to book another one soon.

Positive experience: Started off well, handy to be able to pay bit my bit for a holiday. But my impression was the handled everything including booking seats on the plan. Seats wear not books for the flight and ended up with alot of stress at the airport with the potential of not getting on the flight as the flight was over booked. Not a good start to the holiday. Lucky not everyone one showed up to the flight and we managed to get seats. Had to book my own seats for the way home. To further the bad start to the holiday my hotel they book was booked under the wrong name and took a long time to try and figure out. Ended up being a very stressful day.

Fantastic experience: Thanks to Danielle, we had a fabulous 5 days Golf trip to Majorca. We stayed in El CID hotel in Ca’n Pastilla, over looking the beach, 15 min from airport. We were picked up at the airport, dropped at hotel. We played 2 rounds of golf in Son Antem. Lovely course again picked up and dropped to course. Clubs, buggies also provided. I would highly recommend Shandon Travel. We will definitely be using them again.

Positive experience: We used Shandon to book our tickets to Asia. It was very straight forward, we could then book the insurance with them as well. Very helpful and responsive.

Negative experience: The worst travel agent I’ve ever experienced was Danielle at this commission hungry agency. Total lack of communication on the phone or in email about vaccines required for a cruise I had booked with my elderly Father this summer in August 22! I have lost €2000 and no apology or empathy. She even had the cheek to ask us to pay for a taxi from the airport to try ferry port in Croatia when we already paid €4000! Whilst all the other UK travelling passengers got on buses that they knew about. She doesn’t have any customer service just after passengers money and commission. My elderly Father was left on his own on a cruise as I wasn’t allowed to embark on a cruise because I didn’t have a booster vaccine shot which she didn’t bother to mention on the phone or in any email to me Personally which was booked months in advance. She thinks she has got away with scamming me and boy one word of apology! Absolutely disgusting do not use this agency

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Shandon Travel, in particular Jane. Jane, who answered well over 100 emails from me, helped me plan the holiday of a lifetime across America. Nothing was ever a bother with her, and she found me the best hotels in every spot along the way. She took away the stress of planning a holiday which allowed me to enjoy every single moment of it. I will be booking any future holidays with Jane.

From the very first email and all the emails after than Jane has helped me to get the best package the best everything from our holiday even to respond after working hours. The best service I have ever used so friendly so kind and understanding and even to be a elf at Christmas for our little boy of which the holiday was from Santa. At times I felt I was bothering Jane but she was a star as always. We are going through Shandon Travel for our next holiday of course through Jane plus when we got to our hotel Jane and Shandon Travel got us a complimentary bottle of wine it actually brought tears to our eyes that's beyond service. Fantastic experience: A 5 star review for a 5 Star holiday Feb 2020!...We LOVED our Med cruise booked through Lynda in Clonakilty's outlet from Feb 16th - 23rd, departing Rome! Everything about it was fab...The food, premium drinks package (an upgrade) & nightly shows were all top class. For kids the kids club, water park & climbing trail were brilliant. Our girls (10 & 9) loved fact that they could use jacuzzi. The boat itself MSC's Grandiosa was beautiful - so opulent. Cabin had plenty of storage space and the beds were v comfy, shower had great pressure. Even the reading lights were excellent in the room (I can never read in hotel rooms). Cabin cleaned & towels replaced twice daily. Every morning we would have to open the curtains to see were we docked or not. The only day we knew we were on a boat was the day at sea but it was still perfect. I spend the week looking for negatives...only one was hot plates for desserts!!! We did not get off boat except Valetta for a couple of hours and Marseilles for shopping as there was so much to do on board...we had to be almost pushed off Sunday (were the last to leave at 3pm) An unexpected bonus was the very fine weather. we were by the pool for 8 days (arrived at noon first day). We loved going to the restaurant at night, as it was a different experience to buffet. Food very good on board with huge choice all the time. I would highly recommend MSC (especially for families) and Grandiosa. It really was the holiday of a lifetime. As first time cruisers we will be going again. On board staff were there spraying hands with sanitiser and notices in toilets about hand washing / using paper towels to open bathroom doors. A huge huge thanks to Lynda in West Cork travel for her help and advice. it was all so easy
